The Independent is a print publication for entrepreneurs, bloggers, freelancers, small biz owners, and more. This shoot came together rather quickly and the window for filming was rather slim since one of the founders was in town for only a couple days. We managed to come up with a style, but unfortunately didn’t settle on a script, so the first thing we did was outline the shoot and points we wanted to address. Then we rehearsed each of those points before filming, this helped find the rhythm of each “scene” and get three non-actors comfortable in front of the camera.
